One of my favourite local circulars, a fairly short route, it has some more complex rocky sections. This circular takes in some nice views, and an ancient local landmark called Robin Hoods Picking Rods (see more below).

This is a great route to practise some mountain bike skills, get some decent views, and have some fun. Be prepared for a few short steep climbs, but you’ll be rewarded with views of Manchester and beyond.
The route ends in New Mills, so you can stop in for a pint in any of the wonderful pubs, I would recommend a pint of cask Torrside in Archies, or drop down into the Torrs for a lovely spot at The Shrub Club.
